Princess Eugenie wed her longtime partner, Jack Brooksbank, in what could be described as the dream of every bachelor and spinster. The young pair was happily joined in Holy Matrimony in the front of the princess’ grandparents: the Queen and Prince Philip, as well as other family members. The royal wedding was conducted at Windsor Castle in the presence of a large turnout of close relatives and prominent figures. The service at St George's Chapel was also attended by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
A total of about 850 guests graced the occasion and witnessed the exchange of vows between these two. Some of them are celebrities such as Robbie Williams, Demi Moore and Cara Delevigne. This number is not comparable to the millions that watched the wedding on an extended episode of the program ‘This Morning,’ showing on ITV.
Here are a few things we think you might not have noticed at the royal wedding.
1. Princess Eugenie’s earrings were a present from Jack and she is not ashamed of her scars
Notable among the many things that highlighted the looks of the bride on the day was her diamond and emerald earrings. These earrings were a present from her heartthrob and no better way to spot it on than on the great and memorable day. The beauty of the earrings was complemented by the tiara which the Queen lent the princess. Both pieces of jewelry made the looks of the bride the more glorious.
The princess underwent a surgery to correct her scoliosis at the age of 12. This scar which runs down her spine was however not concealed on the night as she opted to wear a low V back wedding dress. Impressively, the princess has taken a course towards creating awareness and canvassing for the proffering of a solution to the disease as a Patron of the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.
