He has a Black Belt in Karate
Gordon has, in many cases, irritated so many with his words. While his irate attitude makes for quite an interesting show, those on the end of his harsh words never seem to find it amusing and like humans, most would want to resort to a physical defense. Don't think about it. The British cannot just hold his one in a verbal confrontation but also a physical one. The chef who participates in Iron Man competitions has a black belt in karate. In an interview with Playboy, the chef revealed that a Hell's kitchen contestant tried to hit him. The chef just coolly replied:
"I have a black belt in karate. I love boxing. I can look out for myself."
The Chef Can't Seem to Resist Beef Wellington
Ramsay’s favorite on-menu meal is the beef Wellington. No matter where in the world Ramsay is, if he sees beef Wellington on the menu, whether it's in the middle of Milan or the middle of Paris or the middle of New York, you can bet that’s what he’ll be ordering. The chef revealed that he practically grew up with Wellingtons. So dear is the classic meat-in pastry to the chef that an entire section on the Gordon Ramsay Restaurant is devoted to it. The section also contains a recipe for preparing the pastry at home. It also seems to be the dish he most enjoys berating his contestants for screwing up.
