His Infamous Tweets
Musk is famous for his highly provocative tweets. After some group of soccer team boys got stuck in a cave in Thailand in 2018, Musk got his team to build a child submarine from his Space X rocket that could travel through the water in the cave. The Thai gov't found this impractical, so did a British cave diver, whom Musk later referred to as a pedophile in his tweet, though he later apologized he was sued anyway. And in August 2018 Musk tweeted about taking the company private at $420 shares, right after the tweet Tesla stock price went up after two shareholders sued him for making his stock price rise to deal with the short sellers, and for the same reasons the Securities Exchange Commission sued him for security fraud which he ended up paying a fine of $20million, though he and his company never pleaded guilty or not. Musk told Bloomberg Businessweek journalist, “If you're on twitter and you attack me, it is OK for me to attack back,” he said.
