From little details about her lifestyle to her favorite Instagrammer, here are 11 things you need to know as a Blake Lively fan
Inspiration Behind Her Name
When Lively was born on August 25, 1987, she was named Blake Ellender Brown. In an era where it was hard to find girls who had a boy's name, we wonder what could have been the inspiration behind her masculine first name. Lively was named after her grandmother's brother. It has become quite more common to see such occurrences of people with names more familiar with the opposite sex and maybe we can attribute it to the actress’ influence. Even less known is the fact that she was also not always “Lively.” At first, she used her dad's surname, Brown, despite him taking her mother's name upon marriage but changed it when she decided to go into acting
She Was A 3-Year Old First Grader
Interestingly, Blake attended her first Grader class being just three years old. When it was time to enroll Blake's older brother into school, he was uneasy and was having a hard time. To make things a little easy for him, the parents decided to enroll Blake with him. Being quite tall for a toddler, Blake's parents saw an opportunity to quell her elder brother's uneasiness. The facade didn't work for long as the teachers noticed it and she had to be withdrawn after a few weeks.
