TECNO BATTLE: W5 VS CAMON C7

Despite that Tecno has built its Camon C7 and W5 out of plastic, both constructions are quite solid and all details are perfectly adjusted. The C7 is available in 4 beautiful colors that include elegant blue, sandstone black, champagne gold and rose gold. The W5 has three colors to choose from, which are black, silver and gold.

The W5 equipped with a 5.5 inches HD display. Resolution of 720 x 1280 gives the screen well-balanced brightness and sharp colors. Tecno Camon C7 employs a slightly smaller 5-inch panel with the same 720 x 1280 pixels resolution, which also delivers sharp and vibrant colors along with proper blacks. Both smartphones have 3.5 audio port on top, micro-USB port at the bottom, while volume and power buttons sit on the right. Both smartphones come with Octa-core 1.3 GHz processor under the hood.

The W5 has 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage backed with an expandable 32GB microSD slot, while Camon C7 is backed up with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM that can be expanded up to 128GB. Both run on Android Marshmallow 6.0 with their custom XOS. Given the specs, Tecno W5 and Camon C7 can easily handle multitasking and changing from one application to another doesn’t grind the phone’s performance to stop.

Tecno C7 has a decent 16MP back camera with dual LED flashlight and a 16MP selfie camera. There is also manual mode available for those who like to play around with shutter speed and ISO can to shoot more creatively.

The W5 is fitted with a respectable 13-megapixel shooter alongside a 5-megapixel lens that will allow you to readjust the focus on your shots after you take them. The front 5MP camera is average and suitable for selfies and video chatting.

Both cameras work best in natural and abundant lighting conditions, however photos taken in a low light turn out a bit noisy and sometimes blurry. The W5 comes with a non-removable 3000mAH power battery, which isn’t the highest, but still better than Tecno’s Camon C7 2500 mAh unit. C7’s battery is removable and this serves some sort of advantage, as it can be swiped with an extra battery for support if there is limited access to power source.
