He begins each video introducing himself in a high-pitched, goofy voice, drawing out the vowels of his YouTube moniker, then delves into the videos. PewDiePie earned $4 million in 2013, $12 million in 2015 – 2017. His YouTube channel continues to grow at a range of 20-30 thousand new subscribers every day.
