It is never just beds of roses with the suite life that comes with fame; there is the dark side filled with substance abuse, bad debts and other horrible habits. It is actually not what fame does to these celebrities, but what they decide to do with the fame which is usually a cycle of bad decisions that pile up and rupture eventually, leaving established careers and legacies crumbling down. While some people are of the school of thought that fame doesn’t change one, it is more than evident that it does whether for good or bad. Here’s a list of promising stars who downed their careers without being able to revive it.
This elegant young Hollywood star, Charlie Sheen became popular in the 80s and featured in major movie roles such as in ‘Major League,’ but shortly after this rise in fame, it became obvious that he couldn’t handle the pressure with his bad habits trailing him and leading to a number of arrests for drug abuse, drunk driving, and subscribing to multiple sex workers. Well, he had his redemption opportunity with ‘Spin City,’ and the popular series ‘Two and a Half Men’ which was great for a while till he pummeled yet again with rehab sessions and having the virus- HIV. Seems like he is a good place now, but his career has not been the same.
