Ivanka Trump turned 37 on October 30th, and we’ve taken it upon ourselves to highlight all the avenues she could have used her position as the daughter of the President of the United States to make a stand on certain issues within the past year.
The year has been quite good for her; she’s been able to, tour the country to talk about job training, shut down her fashion business, and have minor clashes and disagreements with her father. From an observer’s view from her time as the White House senior advisor; which marked her first foray into the political scene, it can be inferred that Ivanka absolutely enjoys her comfort zone: choosing to address bipartisan concerns such as human trafficking and workforce development, as opposed to more sensitive issues like gun reforms or healthcare. Throughout when she was the White House senior advisor, she never for once granted interviews or made an appearance on MSNBC or CNN, but rather made several appearances on Fox News.
The points highlighted below were not drawn up in the hopes that Ivanka would actually do them, neither are we begrudging her for not doing them. However, with the position she holds and the power she wields, we would expect her to grab whatever opportunity that comes her way to endear herself to Americans, especially the females. In a recent poll conducted by CBS News and Refinery29, a total of 46% of women between the ages of 18 to 35 are not favorably disposed towards her, while only 18% of the same age range view her in a positive light, with the remainder undecided.
Find below the 15 times Ivanka Trump could have been a positive influence on issues within the past year.
