We all know how relationships can be, from getting to know someone, to falling head over heels in love with this person. Like, it is not easy at all, even for us ordinary people. Now imagine if the spotlight is over every single step you make, and how everyone is always in your space and invading your privacy. Trust us; it can get overwhelming at times, or even spin out of control.

So, being a celebrity and dating can be a lot to handle, and this is precisely why most relationships don't last that long. You'll be surprised at how many have tried and failed at keeping long-term relationships. This doesn't mean that the JayZs and Beyonces don't exist, but it sure requires a lot of work to be together and STAY together.

Ariana and Pete are two lovebirds whose split caught us by surprise. The two were dating Cazzie David and Mac Miller respectively before their relationships came to an end. Shortly after they both became single, they officially announced they were dating back in May. Barely days after the announcement, 24-year-old Pete went ahead to get himself a "Dangerous Woman bunny mask" tattoo in awe of his lover.

The American comedian was not the only one who got tattoos, Ariana too at some point tattooed his name on her hand. That's one thing about tattoos, after the breakup, they'll both have to have it removed. Their dating was so intense that they were always seen together, holding hands and what not. That's why we were not so surprised when they confirmed their engagement on June 15.We were all excited about the engagement, and it came as a big blow when we heard of their split last month.

The "God Is A Woman" singer had called off the engagement few days after her ex MacMiller died of a drug overdose in September. The 25-year-old probably figured that she wasn't ready for marriage yet amidst all her problems and decided to take a break from it altogether, to figure herself out.
