Woman Arrested For Murdering Pregnant Lady, Stealing Her Unborn Baby

A lady was arrested for killing and slicing open a mother-to-be and stealing her unborn baby in an attempt to cover-up her own miscarriage.

Cinthia Fatima N. and her husband Omar Erique N. were arrested by Police in the Mexican state of Tamaulipas after the remains of pregnant Jessica Gabriela N. was discovered in their house.

Reports in Mexico states that Cinthia had met the victim via a social network and lured her to her house on the pretense of selling her baby clothes.

Jessica, 20, reportedly met up with Cinthia but when she did not return after a few hours, her family raised alarm.

Jessica's body was allegedly found decomposing at Cinthia's family home days later with reports saying the victim had been strangled to death.

Authorities got a tip-off after a woman, claiming to be Cinthia's sister, turned up at a hospital with a dead child.

The woman reportedly informed doctors that her sister had given birth to a stillborn baby at home. However, local reports say Cinthia had lost her own baby months earlier but had not told her husband.

She then reportedly contacted different pregnant women online to try to kill them and steal their unborn kids.

By then taking the unborn child to doctors and saying she had had a miscarriage, Cinthia thought she would convince her husband she had not lost her own child months earlier.

Prosecutors from the General Attorney's office have commenced an investigation into the unfortunate incident but are yet to make a statement to the media. The suspect's husband is reported to have also been arrested.

The circumstances of how Cinthia allegedly removed the unborn baby from its dead mother remain unclear.
