The early 2000s came with a lot of changes in the music industry. There were mass piracy and the transition from dance culture to into pop culture.
Pop songs were dominant - middle school dance parties, TRL, and more, but most of them didn't survive past one hit.
With the 2010s almost coming to an end, we bring you a list of the 10 biggest one-hit wonders of the 2000s.
1.) BBMak, “Back Here”
BBMak became popular following the release of their debut single “Back Here." The British trio appeared on the Nickelodeon show Even Stevens in which the British pop stars tried to record a song that had a “Sacramento sound,” although there was no such thing as a Sacramento sound.
In August 1999, “Back Here” peaked at number 37 on the UK Singles Chart, and 13 on the United States Billboard Hot 100 in July 2000. It's unfortunate, they didn't survive after that.
