The wedding between the royal couple is estimated to have cost $110 million, adjusted for inflation. The wedding took place on July 29, 1981, at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London. In 1992, the couple announced their separation.
The divorce became final in 1996. On August 31, 1997, the entire royal family were shattered when the news of Princess Diana’s accident hit the public. She did not survive from the ghastly accident.
Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries Wedding Was Worth $10 million
On May 2011, Humphries had proposed marriage with a $2 million ring to Kim Kardashian, and she accepted. In front of 450 guests, the duo got married in August 2011, spending over $10 million.
They split just 72 days after tying the knot. Kim officially filed for divorce three months after their marriage, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason.
Liza Minnelli and David Gest Wedding Was Worth $3.5 million
