Redneck has different meanings to people from all walks of life. Some may regard it as derogatory remark but not to a Southerner as they view being a redneck as more of a lifestyle. They regard themselves as blue collar and hardworking people who have an admiration for the simple things in life. The term redneck was first used in the mid-1900s to describe farmers who would toil the as the sun beats down on their neck. Rednecks have a variety of states in America that they can actually visit or even settle. Here’s a list of such states.
1. Dublin, GA.
Dublin made this list because of the 3500 acres of River Bend Wildlife Management Area; an oasis overflown with redneck opportunities such as fishing, archery, and camping. This area is very ideal for outdoor activities especially if you want to avoid the city. It has dog training areas, hiking trails and even Troup's Spring Lake. Dublin has played host to the notorious Summer Redneck Games.
