People want to be healthy, they just do not know how. According to a Nielsen Health and Wellness report, approximately 89% of Americans believe taking personal accountability for their health is the key to staying healthy.
But only 70% say they are actually prepared to try to be healthier, while 66% say they do not exercise enough and 50% say it is too hard to eat healthily. Here are 10 tips for busy people to stay healthy and fit.
1. The list
An excellent way to concentrate on the things you value, such as staying fit and healthy, is to make a list of everything you’d want to do in your free time, such as watching your favorite television series or running.
Once you have got your list, rank the activities in order of priority, beginning at number one and working your way down. At the end of this task, you will have a list of the activities you value. Strive to always fit in at least one of your top 3 priorities each day, even if it’s only for 15 minutes.
