According to a recent study carried out by the American Pet Products Association (APPA), the Millennials’ generation exceeded the Baby Boomers as pet owners by 3%.
35% of all pet owners are Millennials, and because of that, it is only natural that the pet care trends constantly change. If you are a modern-day pet owner, you probably care for your pet as if she was a member of your household. So, how did the trends change and what are the most important and popular ones?
1. Pet Tech
This trend is gradually growing in the world of pet ownership. Although the niche is comparatively small (at least for now), there is an increasing number of items that offer real value by simplifying a complex task or giving a solution to a specific difficulty. That is why you see smart leashes, ball launchers, automatic feeders, and microchip-enabled collars.
Though some of these gadgets are more useful than others, some pet tech is undoubtedly worth the money.
