Noname can't be predicted. She moves in silence; the kind of quiet secrecy that is needed to collaborate with Beyoncé. The Chicago wordsmith lately returned to Twitter after a 6-month hiatus. This is a good sign that her reappearance marks the start of something. We are still deeply enamored by Telefone, Noname’s amazing 2016 debut album, but the hunger for new music is strong.
